F3 After LIFE Conservation Plan
Ensuring the sustainability of the project activities has played an essential role in the development of concepts and plans as well as in the implementation of the measures protecting the grasslands and birds in the Rhön. The After LIFE Conservation Plan represents the continuation of all activities and the stakeholders by implementing the results of the measures in actions of existing administrative units in the county of Fulda, the Regierungspräsidium Kassel and the Hessian Ministerium für Umwelt, Klimaschutz, Landwirtschaft und Verbraucherschutz (HMUKLV).
Further, there will be a report focussing on the sustainability of the actions undertaken during the LIFE project. This report will complete the upgrade version of grassland concept Natura 2000 (A.4) and other maintenance plans in C-actions.
A third pillar of continuation of the project is the qualification of guides for nature and landscape with a special focus on the protected natural resources of Natura 2000 (E.3), as well as the Natura 2000 Information Centre (E.4) on “Wasserkuppe”, which is an investment for the years to come. Moreover, the group of progressive thinkers in agriculture (E.7) can develop to continuous thematic groups.
